Step 1: Tell us what you're tossing

Step 3: Pick the spot
Most dumpsters go in the driveway. If yours is short, or your street is lined with parked cars like a lot of streets in Cane Bay, let us know before delivery day so we can plan the drop. Want it in the street or the right-of-way? The Town of Summerville has an encroachment permit for that, so check with the Town first. And if you're in an HOA (or two), keep this in mind: some HOAs want a heads-up before a dumpster goes in the driveway. Check yours first.
Step 4: Fill it on your schedule
No waiting on the monthly bulk pickup, no ID check at the county site, no borrowing a truck. Just load it as the work gets done.

Why not just take it to the dump?
Dorchester County's convenience sites won't take contractor debris, and they don't let in anything bigger than a 3/4-ton pickup. Berkeley County's sites check ID and cap you at about a half ton, which is roughly one pickup load. The Town's bulk pickup only comes once a month, and it won't take concrete or stumps. If you've got more than a truckload, a dumpster saves you the trips.
